History, Qualifications & Services

My name is Laura. My training comprises only of positive reinforcement, force free methods & are based upon motivation & Canine understanding.  

 

I hold qualifications with the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour (ADTB) and the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers  (IMDT). On completion of theory and practical assignments I achieved the status of an Accredited Dog Trainer/Approved Instructor to work with and train pet dogs.

I've also studied Canine Body Language & Facial Expression and hold a further qualification in Dog Behaviour, Psychology & Training. Qualifying me in dog behaviours & psychological responses.

I am a member of the NARPS association, the National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers. I am listed on their website of recommendations in York. Please take a look.

 

I am also Pet First Aid Trained and have a DBS disclosure statement for your own piece of mind.

Following my studies & practical assessments, I now manage paws2please and share not only my social life with animals but my working life too. I have an 8 year old Jack, a 2 year old Whippet & a couple of house rabbits that will just be boys!
